Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

ERA ME is operated by Fluxare LLC, registered in Wyoming, USA. For any privacy-related questions, contact us at mahere@appxpose.app.

2. What We Collect

Display name you choose during onboarding
Age group and onboarding preferences (your villain vibe and pain point)
Your journal entries and anything you write in the app
A memory profile the app builds over time from your entries (recurring themes, patterns, and growth), used to personalize the book's reflections
Side character information you choose to add (the people in your story): names or nicknames, your relationship notes, and how you feel. Photos you attach to side characters are stored only locally on your device and never leave it
Task completions and arc progress
Auto-generated user ID
Session token (stored locally on your device)
Purchase information for subscriptions and Essence, processed through Google Play

We do not collect your real email address, phone number, location, contacts, or device identifiers.

3. How We Use Your Data

To respond to your journal entries with personalized reflections via AI
To build your memory profile so the book comes to know you over time and writes back more personally
To generate your personalized daily tasks, daily cards, and weekly rituals
To track your arc progress and streak
To manage your session and keep you logged in

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We do not use your data for advertising and we do not track you across other apps or services.

We share data only with the following processors, strictly to provide the app's functionality:

Anthropic: when you use the book's AI features, the content of your journal entries and your onboarding preferences are sent to generate reflections, daily cards, weekly rituals, and tasks. This content is processed only to provide these features and is not used to train third-party models.
Cloudflare: hosting and database infrastructure (see section 4).
Resend: sends account emails (verification and password reset) to your email address. Used only for email-based accounts.
Google Play: subscription and in-app purchase verification.

Side character information stays private to your account and is used only to reflect your own patterns back to you. It is never shared, aggregated, or used to evaluate the other person.

4. Data Storage and International Transfer

Your data is stored on Cloudflare D1 database infrastructure. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Session tokens are stored in Cloudflare KV with a 90-day expiration. Because our processors (including Anthropic, Cloudflare, and Resend) operate in the United States, your data may be processed outside your country, including in the USA. We rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

5. Your Rights

You can delete your account at any time from within the app: tap the settings icon on the home screen, then tap "Delete my account." All data is permanently deleted immediately and cannot be recovered.

If you are in the European Union or another region with data protection laws, you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise these rights, use the in-app deletion or email mahere@appxpose.app with the name you used to sign up. We will respond within 48 hours.

6. Children and Teens

ERA ME is designed for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. The app includes safeguards intended to keep reflections supportive and age-appropriate, and it directs users toward real-world support resources when needed. ERA ME is a space for self-reflection and is not a substitute for professional or medical care. We encourage parents and guardians of teens to be aware of their use of the app. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us at mahere@appxpose.app and we will delete it promptly.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Continued use of ERA ME after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
